Fanel Besleaga

Hello, everyone!

What I Do

I’ve worked on various projects across both Blue Team and Red Team operations. Starting with my internship, I was curious and eager to learn how to find vulnerabilities, understand their mechanics, and, on the flip side, detect and stop them.

Current Projects

In my free time, I tinker with my home lab, focusing on network security, automation, monitoring, and detection using Security Onion.

Research & Blog

While exploring different certifications and well-known online hacking platforms, I frequently encountered automated deployments. This inspired me to build a home lab and automate the entire deployment process. I plan to share some of my previous research, insights on pentesting, and tutorials on deploying automated environments with open-source tools.

This blog will cover topics such as:

  • Automation and Network Security: Best practices and tools.
  • Monitoring and Detection: Explore techniques using various SIEMs.
  • Pentesting and Red Team Operations: Case studies and methodologies.
  • Azure Cloud: Integration of various security solutions in hybrid environments.
  • Vulnerability Assessment: Setup and run automated scans

Motivation

I've been using resources found on the web for a while now, and they have greatly contributed to my growth and success in the field. I want to give back to the info sec community by sharing my knowledge, tools, and experiences.

Stay tuned for regular updates and feel free to reach out for collaboration or discussions on cybersecurity.
